Sellyourmobiles mobile handset cashback scheme
To ensure that your order is fulfilled please read the 'terms & conditions' carefully before you send in your handset(s) to us. By sending in your handset(s) to us you are agreeing that you have read the 'terms & conditions' and that you are in agreeing to be bound by these.
Please take a note of your handset(s) IMEI number(s) in case you are required to provide them to assist in processing your order. The IMEI number can be found at the back of your handset or by simply typing into your handset that you wish to sell *#06# this will then show the 15 digit IMEI number.
The mobile handset(s) you are selling
Each handset that you are selling should match the make and model that you register on-line and meet the following:
- Remove SIM card any memory card, as these will not be returned.
- If the handset is sold as working it must be able to turn on and off.
- If the handset is sold as working it must work fully with no missing parts.
- If the handset is sold as working the screen must be working and not damaged.
- The battery must be included and be fully charged.
- If the handset is sold as working it must not be physically damaged or liquid damaged.
- The handset being sent in must be to the manufacturer's original specifications.
Handset(s) valuations
Condition varies on handsets and Sellyourmobiles reserve the right to revise the original price offered based on the condition of the handset received. You will be notified of this and may choose to accept or decline the offer. Revised offers may be sent for, but not limited to, the following reasons:
- Missing, damaged, or cracked parts (e.g. a stylus for touch screen phones should be included if the phone was originally supplied with one).
- Handset is PIN or password protected and this information is not provided.
- Not functional e.g. Bluetooth, camera, wireless etc not working.
- Buttons missing.
- Display not clear and or not fully intact, fading, pixels missing, cracks and bleeding on the screen and touch-screens should be free from major scratching.
- Water damage (and signs of water damage as signified by the manufacturer's water damage indicators).
- Flip or slider mechanism not working properly.
- Scratching and marks not consistent with normal wear
- Heavy scufffing to lens and cases

'Handset Back Promise'
Unfortunately some phones we are unable to accept due to their poor condition or a major fault so are unable to offer a payment for them. Foreign handsets are also unacceptable in some circumstances. In these cases handsets will be returned to customers free of charge. This is important that you make sure that the handset(s) you send in meet our requirements to avoid disappointment.
Stolen, Blocked and Fake Phones
"Lost, blocked or stolen phones" are phones that have been reported as either lost or blocked or stolen as recorded in any of the stolen asset registers maintained by CheckMEND at http://www.checkmend.com/geo/index.php.
"Fake" phones are counterfeit phones which are manufactured to resemble products made by another company in beach of Copyright.
Sellyourmobiles will make no payments to customers for phones received which are either "Lost, blocked or stolen" or "fake".
Sellyourmobiles reserves the right to inform the relevant authorities if there is any suspicion that there is a deliberate attempt to perpetrate a fraud. Sellyourmobiles reserves the right to reclaim any money paid to the consumer or business if it is discovered within three months of the return of that phone that the phone has either been reported lost blocked or stolen by the seller of the phone, or the phone is discovered to be a "fake".
Liability for handset SIM card & data
You will be responsible for removing all SIM(s) and memory card(s) from the handset(s) before sending them in to be processed. Sellyourmobiles will not be held liable if you fail to remove these, you agree to release Sellyourmobiles from any claims, losses or damages with respect to handset(s) posted or the use of your SIM card(s) or use of data left on memory card(s) on the receipt of your handset(s). The onus is on the sender to ensure the appropriate insurance and posting is undertaken as Sellyourmobiles will not compensate for any handset(s) lost in the post.
Website pricing
Pricing on the website is subject to change without prior notice.
Once your ordered is placed the pricing is guaranteed for 7 days. If your handset(s) is not received after 7 days from the receiving the Sellyourmobiles freepost envelope then any updated or current pricing will apply.
If the handset(s) received differs to the one registered on-line then the order processed will be based on the handsets received.
Sellyourmobiles will have the final decision on all handset values.
Payments
To fulfill your order, we will check that the handset(s) are complete and they meet our 'terms & conditions'. Once we are satisfied that they do we will then forward payment or send a revised offer.
Payments are only made to the name, address and details provided on-line during registration. Incorrect details supplied to us may result in charges deducted from an order if fees are incurred by us to re-issue a payment. Please ensure all bank details are correct.
If bank details are incorrect and funds leave our account it can take upto 14 days to re-issue a payment.
If you require a cheque to be reissued due to it being damaged, we do this for free simply post the damage cheque back to us to:

If you do not provide the damaged cheque then a fee of £10 will apply and will be deducted from the re-issued cheque value.
Postage instructions
Checklist
Please make sure to that you have read the following before posting:
- Handset is fully charged
- Remove SIM and memory card
- Do not send any accessories or charger
- Wrap screen in tissue or bubble wrap
Posting
You have 3 options for sending in your handset(s) to Sellyourmobiles, which are outlined below:
Option 1 - Freepost
Simply place your handset(s) into the freepost bag provided and post into a postbox. The cost is free and will arrive to us in 1 to 3 days.
Option 2 - Freepost & Proof Posting
Simply place your handset(s) into the freepost bag provided and then take it to the Post Office. Once you are at the Post Office obtain a stamped 'Certificate of Posting' and keep this in safe place. The cost is free and we get your handset in 1 to 3 days and will be covered by Royal Mail 'loss or damage' cover up to £39.
Option 3 - Freepost & Special Delivery
Simply place your handset(s) into the freepost bag provided and then take it to the Post Office. Once you are at the Post Office you send your handset 'Special Delivery' and keep the proof of postage in safe place. The benefit here is that your handset if of high value will be covered by Royal mail 'loss or damage' cover up to £500. The cost is approximately £5.05 (please check with the Post Office before opting for this option as the cost may of increased) and we get your handset in 1 to 3 days.

Consumers
By processing order through our website you agree to the following:
- You reside in Northern Ireland or Great Britain (England, Wales or Scotland).
- You have accessed our website from the countries mentioned above.
- You legally can enter into a contract.
- You are over the age of 18 years old.
- If under the age of 18 years old that you have obtained your parent's or guardians' consent to sell your handset via our website under or pricing terms.
- You and your parents or guardians release us of any liabilities or claims that may arise if you send the phone to us in breach of this warranty.
- If you deal as a consumer any provision of this contract which is of no effect to a consumer shall not apply. Your statutory rights are not affected by this contract.
- For the purposes of these terms and conditions, "consumer" means an individual who neither makes this contract in the course of a business, nor holds himself out as doing so, as defined by the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977.
Businesses
By processing order through our website you agree to the following:
- You are authorised and have agreed to act on behalf of the business.
- You are based in Great Britain or Northern Ireland.
- You are accessing our website from the mentioned countries.
- You are legally capable of entering into a bind contract.
How The Contract Is Formed Between You And Us
Our site is only intended for use by people registered with us and resident in Great Britain and Northern Ireland. At our complete discretion we may accept or reject orders from people outside of these territories. Your contract with us will be formed when we receive your order. It will incorporate these terms and conditions. You must own all rights, title and interests in any device(s) that you send to us. Ownership of the device(s) will only pass to us when we receive the devices, in accordance with these terms and conditions, and we have dispatched payment to you, when, hence, a contract will be formed. The contract between you and us is binding on you and us and on our respective successors and assigns. You may not transfer, assign, charge or otherwise dispose of a contract, or any of your rights or obligations arising under it, without our prior written consent We may transfer, assign, charge, sub-contract or otherwise dispose of a contract, or any of our rights or obligations arising under it, at any time during the term of the contract. You may cancel the contract with us at any time up to the time when you send us the device ("cooling-off period"), providing:
- The contract was negotiated and concluded exclusively by means of distance communication (including, but not limited to, telephone, letter, fax or email); and
- The contract was negotiated and concluded exclusively by means of distance communication (including, but not limited to, telephone, letter, fax or email); and
When cancelling during the cooling-off period, you need not give us any reason for cancelling the contract, nor will you have to pay any administration charges. To cancel the contract you must notify us in writing. This contract cannot be cancelled once our payment has been issued to you.
Events Outside Of Our Control
We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under a contract that is caused by events outside our reasonable control or due to our compliance with any applicable laws or regulations.
